On Nov. 20, sixty students representing Panhandle Elementary School traveled to Frank Phillips College to compete in the Academic UIL contest. There were a total of 22 events held, and Panhandle students once again demonstrated their ability to compete academically by winning the competition by a landslide. The students and coaches have worked very hard for several weeks, and their effort and dedication were apparent in the contest results. We had at least one student place in every event in the contest, and we proudly took home 56 medals and ribbons. Congratulations to all our students who competed for Panhandle Elementary!
